Just before 4 p.m. Monday Montgomery County dispatchers received a call from a 13-year-old female who reported that a large, older white male attempted to abduct her as she came home from school. She fled into the woods near the greenbelt in the Cumberland subdivision, with the male chasing after her.

Multiple units responded including DPS, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constables Office. A search was immediately launched as officers combed the woods searching for the female and the possible abductor. As they searched, 911 operators kept her on the line, attempting to determine where she was in the woods. Additional officers entered the back of the wooded area on FM 1314.

Dispatchers then notified units that all they could hear was leaves rustling and no voice. Within minutes a DPS Trooper spotted the girl hiding by a tree and escorted her out of the woods.

MCHD and Porter Fire Department responded to the location on FM 1314 near Fearne Drive and determined the girl had a few scratches and cuts but was otherwise fine. MCHD then transported her to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston to be evaluated.

On Saturday, November 9, 2013, between the hours of 4:00 and 4:30 p.m., the same  female reported that an unidentified white male had chased her into a wooded area near her home. Once in the wooded area, the suspect physically restrained the female as she began to scream, at which time nearby residents came to her aid. The suspect fled the area prior to residents arriving to assist the victim. The reported incident occurred in the area of FM 1314 and CumberlandBlvd.

The complainant believes that she previously observed the suspect, in her back yard, on November 2, 2013. The complainant additionally believes this is the same subject that attacked and assaulted her in the same area in August of 2012.

The suspect is described as a large white male with a, “pot belly”, approximately 5’11” to 6’1” tall, weighing 275 to 300 pounds, having a dark buzzed cut hair style, an un-kept beard, pock marked cheeks, and yellow crooked uneven teeth.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to call Detective Trey Gordy with the Person Crimes Unit at (281)-297-6516, Texas Ranger Wende Wakeman at (936) 538-3700, or Montgomery County Crime Stoppers at (800)-392-STOP (7867).
