Saturday night, local wrecker drivers contacted Splendora Police Sgt. Teller and Patton Village Police Officer Offord regarding someone who needed their vehicle towed and attempted to pay for the service with several grams of methamphetamine.
Upon learning of the incident, Splendora Police went to the disabled vehicle and called the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office to assist with a K-9 unit. They recovered 520 grams of meth from the vehicle.
Dylan Mark French, 25, of Nacogdoches, is charged with first-degree felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, more than 1 gram but less than 400 grams.
