Tuesday evening Porter firefighters rescued a man from a tree on Summer Hills at Butterfly. The call was received just before 6:30p.m. and they arrived with a man hanging upside down in the tree. His almost severed lower leg was wedged between a large tree limb and the fork of the tree. After almost thirty minutes he was removed and flown to Hermann Hospital in Houston by PHI Air Medical in critical condition.
