This 17-year-old senior, Wade Greenhaw was fishing along Peach Creek in Splendora with friends Sunday afternoon. As they waded across Peach Creek the unforgiving sandy bottom gave way. He went under. His friends were able to pull him to shore and begin CPR. MCHD transported him to Kingwood in critical condition. He has since been transferred to Texas Children’s Hospital in the Texas Medical Center where he remains in critical condition. A prayer vigil will be held tonight at 6pm at the Cnaey Creek Cowboy Church on FM 1485 and Nonesuch.
