PRECINCT 4 BLOTTER

Montgomery County Constable Pct. 4 Deputies served 41 civil papers with 5 evictions and 12 writs throughout East Montgomery County. Numerous suspects were arrested, clearing 54 JP4 warrants and 4 Montgomery County warrants, and 1 warrant from Liberty County.

No Driver’s License, No Insurance, No Way!

14 vehicles were towed in Precinct 4 because drivers had no license and/or no insurance, 17 were towed because the drivers were arrested, and 4 were towed for other reasons.

Neighborhood Patrol

Angela Jean McMahan, 26, of Channelview is charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. On April 30, around 1 a.m., Cpl. A. Looza and Deputy Brown stopped a vehicle in the 16700 block of FM 3083 for a violation, and found the driver had active warrants. Looza and Brown arrested the driver and the passenger, McMahan was also arrested when she was found in possession of marijuana.

Melanie Stacy Iris, 31, of Porter is charged with misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana. On April 29, around 10:30 p.m. Deputy E. Rivera stopped a Mitsubishi Galant with California plates for defective equipment. Iris, the driver, had a suspended license and as standard procedure, the vehicle was towed. While conducting an inventory of the vehicle, Deputy Rivera found Iris in possession of marijuana.

Kimberly Taylor Smith, 45, of Spring is charged with Public Intoxication. On April 29, around 1:30 p.m., Cpl. A. Looza and Deputy J. Brown responded to a welfare check at a business in the 14500 block of FM 1485 where they found Smith who appeared extremely impaired and admitting taking prescription narcotics.

Christopher Antonio Cardenas, 28, of Houston, and 32-year-old Rhiannon Sharee McVay of New Caney are charged with misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana. On April 28, around 5 p.m., following an investigation, Deputy E. McHugh and others executed a search warrant at 23602 FM 1485 East where they found Cardenas and McVay in possession of marijuana.

Steven Nathan Allen, 35, of New Caney is charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Fail to Comply with Striking Fixture or Highway Landscaping. Around 11:30 p.m. on April 27, Deputy E. Rivera and Cpl. A. Looza responded to an “attempt to locate” dispatch regarding a suspect who was northbound on the main lanes of Hwy 59 when he struck a large green New Caney exit sign and kept going. The reportee followed the vehicle and kept dispatchers apprised of the vehicle’s whereabouts. He finally stopped at a business in the 23900 block of Manion Oaks Ct. where the responding officers saw him exhibit multiple signs of intoxication and noticed he smelled strongly of alcohol. His truck was damaged and airbags were deployed. The suspect, who admitting drinking that evening, failed the Standard Field Sobriety Test and was arrested..
