PRECINCT 4 PURSUIT ENDS IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH

Early Sunday morning a Montgomery County Precinct 4 deputy was eastbound on SH 105 East when a motorcycle passed him going the other direction at 103 mph. The deputy turned around and pursued the motorcycle to Waukegan Road where the driver went south crossing the railroad tracks at high speed. The chase continued across FM 1485 along Waukegan and then onto FM 3083 where they traveled south on Old Texaco Road. That was where the deputy lost sight of the driver. A short time later a caller reported a motorcycle crash on Old Texaco near Old Texaco Camp Road. Units responded but the driver was not found. Caney Creek Fire Department was dispatched to use a FLIR to make sure the driver had not been thrown into the woods and injured. I was then learned the motorcycle had been stolen in Huntsville in October and the plates stolen in Livingston.
