PRISONER ESCAPES POLK COUNTY JAIL THIS MORNING

Close to midnight Polk County jail inmate Daniel Lee Falls age 26, escaped through an unsecured kitchen door. Falls was in the Polk County Jail for Felony Theft and Bond Forfeiture. . He has a extensive criminal history. Most of his criminal history starts back in 2002 when he was convicted of Tampering With a Government Record. From then it was Possession of Marijuana and Felony Theft charges.
On October 14, 2009 he was convicted of illegally possessing a firearm by a felon, bond jumping and Taking Wildlife Resources Without Consent.For this he was given ten years probation. On August 13, 2008 he was also given five years probation for felony theft.
Falls should be considered dangerous and there is a possibility he could be armed according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
