Just after 10 pm, Tuesday a deputy spotted two motorcycles south on Old Houston from SH 242 at a high rate of speed. The Deputy was able to catch up to them at FM 1314 when he activated his emergency lights. One motorcycle stopped immediately, however, the other rider decided to flee. A pursuit ensued down FM 1314 toward I-69. As the motorcycle approached I-69 he turned to see where the deputy was. This was at the same time a driver in a Chevrolet Tahoe was southbound and turning right into McDonalds’. The motorcycle slammed into the rear of the Tahoe. The bike went under the vehicle breaking the motorcycle rider’s arm as his helmeted head slammed into the rear door. One of the first questions from the 18-year-old from Houston was whether he would still be able to graduate this week. He was transported to Kingwood Hospital. The driver of the Tahoe suffered minor whiplash but was not transported to the hospital.
