A 28-mile pursuit has just ended in Houston. A DPS unit attempted to stop a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle which was southbound on US 59 feeder at FM 1485. The motorcycle speed up to speeds of over 120 mph south into Harris County. Montgomery County Precinct 4 also assisted for some of the pursuit. The pursuit exited Rankin Road and went onto the feeder running several red lights before returning to the main lanes of the freeway at Aldine Mail Routte. At IH 610 the driver went east. Just as the DPS Helicopter joined in the pursuit the driver gave up and was taken into custody.
