Just before 11pm Harris County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a 2012 Ford Edge which was doing 90mph westbound on Blue Bell approaching Veterans Memorial. The posted speed limit was 30 mph. As the driver approached the intersection which t’s he ran through a vacant lot and flipped the SUV at least once. The driver then jumped out of the vehicle and fled into a large pasture. Deputies spent over an hour attempting to locate the driver but were unable to. Due to weather, a helicopter was not available.
