Sunday evening a Montgomery County Precinct 4 Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle heading northbound on US 59 at speeds over 100 mph. As the Deputy positioned himself behind the vehicle, the suspect took off leading the Deputy on a pursuit with speeds reaching over 130 mph. The pursuit spanned 14.03 miles and ended in Liberty County. While conducting his investigation, the Deputy learned the suspect evaded capture from Missouri City Police approximately 30 minutes earlier. Cleveland Police assisted.
