This afternoon a very talented videographer and a friend for over 40 years passed away. Donald Gregory Hirsch, 57 of Spring, died in his sleep this afternoon. Don would give the shirt off his back for anyone. He ran with Volunteer Fire Departments for years, he also worked at Cypress Creek EMS (FM 1960 Area Emergency Communications Center) for many years. Don was one of the participants in the video from years ago when a joke was played on a new dispatcher with new equipment at Cypress Creek EMS. Many know it as bit by a deer. It was known as BAMBULANCE, which was actually added to the Urban Dictionary.  Don shot video for many television stations over the years and was one of the primary videographer for several years of video of the BP Explosion and oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Don also owner J.A.M. Video Productions and J.A.M. Aviation and was one of the first videographers to introduce drones for photography in the Houston area. Details of memorial will be posted when we have it. Keep his family in your prayers.
