RE: CHRISTMAS WEATHER FORECAST

From the Montgomery County Office of Emergency Management:

As a cold front approaches, the National Weather Service advises that we could see strong to severe thunderstorms later today and by this evening these storms could be coupled with strong winds.

We also want to issue caution while driving, in particular this evening though tomorrow morning as we expect to experience dense fog until the cold front passes through.

Christmas weekend will bring much cooler than normal temperatures, however, at this time there is no indication of wintery precipitation.
Surface temperatures will mostly stay above freezing, transportation impacts are not expected. We do want to remind you though, if temperatures do drop below the freezing mark, you should be prepared to protect your pets, pipes and plants.
