Officer Landrum sat with us for hours waiting for the funeral home to arrive in the wee hours, while my poor dad lay there on the floor. He was so full of compassion and empathy, and tried to steer our attention from that with stories about his service and family, and kept my mom distracted, even bringing a smile to her face. Hands down, these officers were professional and amazing at their job. We are huge law enforcement supporters in our family, and they showed the utmost respect. The Ems crew left before I could get names, but the young man who kept my mom off to the side while they had the Lucas going and trying so hard to save him was phenomenal. The call was in the Magnolia Ridge Subdivision; probably the original call went in around 10 pm-ish. Thank you so much for your help! Let me know if you need anything else
