HARRIS COUNTY, TX- A driver was arrested for reckless driving after being observed performing dangerous maneuvers in the parking lot of a Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office facility.
According to authorities, Sgt. Crowley was in the Pct. 4 Constable’s Office station parking lot in the 20100 block of Holzwarth Road when she saw a red vehicle driving in a reckless manner and allegedly “doing donuts”, as it’s called when a driver intentionally spins a vehicle in tight circles, usually while accelerating and leaving skid marks (for anyone from another country or who recently abandoned being Amish).
When Sgt. Crowley made contact with the driver, he allegedly explained he simply wanted to demonstrate burnouts to his 10-year-old child after watching a racing movie at a nearby theater.
The driver was taken into custody and charged with Reckless Driving. Constable Herman emphasized that reckless driving endangers lives and that parking lots and public roadways are not appropriate venues for stunt driving.
