During Thursday’s Conroe City Council meeting, two heroes were recognized for assisting Conroe Police Officer Allan Bell in saving the life of a man involved in an Oct. 24 automobile crash.
Michael Jedrzynski and Ignacio Dominguez and Officer Bell received a standing ovation, plaques, and personal thanks from the family of 38-year-old Aaron Puffer, who remained hospitalized.
Fortunately for Puffer, Officer Bell was on patrol and happened to see his car leave the roadway and crash as both vehicles traveled in the 5200 block of West Davis. Officer Bell stopped and ran over to the vehicle, which was on fire. The two civilians stopped and rushed to help Officer Bell, as all three men risked their own well-being to save a stranger from the burning vehicle.
