About 9 pm Tuesday night, a Conroe ISD bus with 21 students on board was returning to the campus. The bus was westbound on College Park. With a green light, the driver was turning left onto Achievement Drive. That is when a Chevrolet pickup, which was eastbound on College Park, ran the red light and slammed into the front of the bus. Multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene along with Woodlands Fire and Needham Fire. The students were evaluated but none were transported. CISD Police Investigated the crash with DPS and MCSO assisting.
