On Tuesday at approximately 12:00 noon the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a Bank Robbery at the Regions Bank in the 9400 Block of College Park, The Woodlands Texas. Upon arrival Deputies learned a black male entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding $15,000 in large bills. The teller stated the suspect did not brandish a weapon but a pistol could be seen in his jacket pocket. The teller complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. MCSO Major Crimes Detectives were called to the scene and are currently conducting an investigation. The suspect was described as a black male approximately 6’00 and approximately 175lbs wearing blue jeans, black hoodie with large white graphics on left side and a black baseball style hat with white emblem on the front. The suspect then fled on foot and was followed for a short distance where he got into the backseat of a teal or light green 4 door passenger car. The vehicle left heading westbound on FM 1488.
