Wildcat Sports Association or WSA, a non-profit organization setup through Montgomery County, provides children of Splendora and surrounding areas age 4 and up a place to compete in tackle football, cheerleading, as well as flag football, and soccer. WSA was created about 2 years ago and solely runs on donations, sponsorships, and fundraising. The board of WSA is committed to making sure every dollar is spent on what the youth in our community need to play sports. We have kids from all over who join us to play football and cheerleading. Soccer and Flag Football are new to us, as WSA wanted to provide additional sporting options for ALL the kids to participate in.
Our board and volunteer coaches are committed to teaching skills and technique but also hard work, discipline, teamwork, and most of all having fun….they are kids!!! WSA does outreach in our community. If we didn’t have our community, we couldn’t exist so we try and give back in a fun way with monthly free Movie at the Park and are always baking something delicious for our First Responders in our area. Keep an eye out for our free football and cheer camps coming up soon too!
WSA is a group of volunteers who try and make youth sports a great experience for each and every child who wants to play. We love our youth and our community!
