NMC fire responded to a reported commercial building explosion on South Leeshore Drive about 2 pm. Units arrived at the scene to find a 20-foot geyser shooting out of one of the water tanks, Firefighters were able to shut the supply down. A valve had broken off. With no hazard they area awaiting on AQUA to repair the relief valve. Some residents may experience water pressure issues for the next few hours. This is not the first incident of the water supply. Residents say that last week heavy chlorine was put into the water which is now just clearing up.
