According to Captain Rusty Fincher with the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constables Office, rescues pulled a male and female teen from Lake Conroe just after 1 pm. Fincher said a 16-year-old male swam almost 150 yards fro the North Point Aquarius boat ramp to a buoy. That is where he became distressed. A female then swam out to him to aid him staying afloat until help could get there. North Montgomery County Fire Boat 94 along with Precinct 1 Lake Patrol responded to the scene. Fire Boat arrived first and took both persons on-board. They returned to shore where MCHD evaluated the two. They were not transported. Neither person had any type of floatation device. Fincher warns anyone to use extreme caution on the lake. This situation could have easily turned into a drowning.
