Today we celebrated the distinguished law enforcement career of Sgt. Randy Sanson. Sgt. Sanson started his law enforcement career as a reserve deputy in December, 1982 with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department under former Sheriff Joe Corley.
After two years he hired on with the Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constables Office under former Constable Janie Williamson, where he served 11 years as full time paid deputy.
Sgt. Sanson has been with the Montgomery County Pct. 1 Constables Office since June of 1996. He started his service with the former Constable Don Chumley. Sgt. Sanson currently serves under Constable Philip Cash.
Sgt. Sanson is set to retire at the end of this month after 34 years of public service to the citizens of Montgomery County.
Though he will remain with the department as a reserve deputy, his presence will be missed.
