At 1:30pm two Caney Creek Firefighters were traveling down Stephen F Austin at Stephen F. Austin Ct. when they spotted a blue Ford F-150 nose down in the ditch against a retaining wall. As they slowed they realized it appeared to be someone in the drivers seat slumped over. With the doors locked, using an axe they broke the window out to get to the driver. He was found to be in cardiac arrest. They immediately pulled the male who was in his 40’s out and began CPR. They were able to get his heart going again. MCHD arrived a short time later and continued to try to stabilize the driver. He was transported to HCA Conroe in critical condition. DPS assisted Montgomery County on the scene. The driver was a resident of River Plantation. Get R Done Towing removed the vehicle from the scene.
