robbery in conroe

Just after 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon two black males between 18 and 24 walked into the Popeye’s Chicken. As one of the men armed with a hand-gun robbed the employees the other robbed a couple that were eating at the time. One round was fired from the gun but nobody was injured.

The duo then fled the scene in a maroon Chevrolet Cavalier with a possible license number.

Saturday the Exxon on Riley Fuzzell Road was robbed but it was unknown if it was the same suspects.

Sunday just after noon the Domino’s Pizza near the Sam Houston Campus took place and the approximately one hour later an attempted robbery at the Subway in New Waverly took place. Both businesses described the suspects as black males.

One of the female  employees at the Subway saw the two come in with ski masks and ran to the back of the store to tell one the male employee. That employee fled out the rear door. The duo jumped the counter and put a gun to her head. With six customers in the store they were scared off by someone pulling into the parking lot and fled with nothing.
