Early Tuesday morning, May 21, 2013, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people that robbed a store on SH 242.
Just before 2:00 AM the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a robbery that had just occurred at a convenience store on SH 242 at Lexington Drive in South Montgomery County. Witnesses were able to provide a description of a suspect and a vehicle and saw that the vehicle left driving east on SH 242 toward the bridge that crosses the river.
Witnesses told deputies that a suspect entered the store wearing a bandana over his face and a black hoodie. The suspect demanded money from the register and kept his hand in this pocket as if he had a gun. The suspect left in an older model Mustang.
Deputies saw the vehicle driving east on SH 242 and stopped the vehicle as it turned onto FM 1314. The two occupants were arrested and taken to jail charged with robbery. No weapon was found in the vehicle.
