(It wasn’t actually the end of the pursuit… just the end of the gas-powered part)
The earlier crash at Essex and Yarmouth, off of Cambridge Blvd, was part of a Roman Forest Police Department pursuit. The suspect was allegedly witnessed with violations on Appian Way, and performed a U-turn and fled when he saw law enforcement. He crashed at the intersection, and then allegedly fled on foot but was quickly caught and detained.
A better pic of the face will be posted after the suspect has been booked!
Arrested was Edson Daniel Palacios, 24, of 24341 Ford Road in Porter. He is charged with possession of marijuana and evading arrest, a third-degree felony.
