HARRIS COUNTY, TX- Earlier this evening, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 5900 block of Oakmoss Trail in reference to an aggressive animal call. They arrived to learn an elderly female had been out walking her dog when a Rottweiler attacked her. The victim was bitten multiple times in both arms and is now receiving medical attention at a nearby urgent care. Investigation on scene continues.
PSA please leash your dogs. Even dogs that are off leash trained should be on a leash when in public spaces. This is for the safety of everyone. An unleashed dog approaching can make dogs and people uncomfortable.
