RUMORS ARE STILL RUNNING THROUGHOUT MONTGOMERY COUNTY SCHOOLS.

With the rumors causing problems with some of the Montgomery County schools, there are laws to curb it. Assistant District Attorney Warren Diepraam explains the penalties for not just spreading rumors to cause fear in a public place but also the penalties for carrying a weapon for protection on school property.

Precinct 1 Constable Don Chumley has stepped up security at all the Willis Schools due to the rumors. He assures families that there children are safe in the schools. Earlier today three members of the Montgomery County SWAT team stopped by Willis High School. These three Montgomery County Swat Team Members were not dispatched directly to the school but were making rounds to many Montgomery County Schools for the purpose of checking surroundings and becoming familiar with the school officers.
