Runaway Investigation Leads to Multiple-Warrant Arrest

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On November 18, a deputy with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 300 block of Remington Heights Drive regarding a report of a 13-year-old runaway.

During the investigation, deputies located the juvenile walking along the roadway with a man later identified as 28-year-old Tastien Hall, who claimed he had met the juvenile earlier at a neighborhood park.

Further investigation revealed that Hall had five open traffic warrants through Harris County, along with two additional warrants out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Louisiana warrants included charges for Domestic Abuse Battery – Child Endangerment and Violation of a Protective Order. All warrants were confirmed on scene.

“Tastien Hall was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the warrants. His bond and court information have not yet been set,” Constable Mark Herman said
