S-L-O-W D-O-W-N PLEASE

As of 5 p.m. there were 13 crashes working in Montgomery County. Just as one cleared from the intersection of FM 3083 and Jefferson Chemical a driver of a Dodge 2500 pick-up was in such a hurry that he tried to pass a vehicle southbound on FM 3083 at Old Texaco. The area is just not a no passing lane but in an intersection.

As he passed one vehicle he almost clipped it. Losing control the vehicle he almost hit slowed down as the truck went sideways into the ditch and over a culvert destroying a marking reflector.

The woman he almost hit made a u-turn and went back to where he ran into the ditch to make sure he was ok.

As she did that northbound vehicles were forced to make a sudden stop. Following to close for conditions one of those vehicles parked under a pickup of a man on his way to work.

The Dodge pickup which had been in the ditch fled the scene.
