SAN ANTONIO RESIDENT BUSTED FOR SENDING CHILD PORN TO CONROE

Guiterrez-ICACPR

A San Antonio, Texas, resident was recently arrested for transmitting child pornography while communicating with undercover investigators in Conroe, Texas. On September 15, 2014, Nicolas Garcia Gutierrez, of San Antonio, Texas, was arrested for Promotion of Child Pornography, a 2nd degree felony, by the Montgomery County Internet Crimes Against Children Division (ICAC). Gutierrez is being held on a $150,000 dollar bond.

In early  September, a Montgomery County Constable Precinct 1 Investigator was surfing a social media website looking for child predator activity. The investigator, acting as a 15-year-old child, began to communicate with Gutierrez. During their communications, Gutierrez allegedly propositioned the Investigator, who he believed to be a 15-year-old, to engage in sexual acts. Gutierrez also sent the investigator child pornography in the form of nude photos of young children. Based on the communications and transmissions with Gutierrez, Montgomery County Constables Office PCT 1, Constables Office PCT 3, District Attorney’s Office and the Texas Rangers executed a search and arrest warrant at Gutierrez’s residence in Bexar County, Texas. Subsequently, Nicolas Garcia Gutierrez was taken into custody by the Bexar County Sherriff’s Office.
During the course of this investigation, it appeared to the officers that Gutierrez had been targeting children in the greater Houston Metro area. The Montgomery County ICAC Division is encouraging anyone who recognizes Gutierrez or has information on this case to contact them at 936-760-6910.
Cindy Pulcher (ICAC Chief Prosecutor): “This investigation shows that child predators have the ability to target children from wherever they live. When these individuals target children in Montgomery County, Texas, the Montgomery County ICAC team will find them and will work with the local law enforcement agencies to ensure they are arrested for their conduct. The State and local law enforcement agencies are doing a great job at working together to protect the children of this State.”
