Child Predator Suspect Hides, Tries to Flee Through Hole…
SAN JACINTO COUNTY, TX- On Wednesday, San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and the Special Response Team (SRT) executed a search and arrest warrant in the 100 block of Benner Rd. in Shepherd.
Upon arrival at the residence, SRT removed and detained several people. The woman said wanted suspect, 39-year-old Clint Johnson, was hiding inside the house. After an extensive search, SRT found Johnson hiding under the house, where he’d tried to escape through a hole in the floor. SRT took the suspect into custody without further incident. Investigators then executed the search warrant and collected the evidence outlined in the document.
Investigators found one of the other men in the residence, Robert Spore, had an open felony warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. They arrested both men and transported them to the San Jacinto County Jail in Coldspring.
Clint Lloyd Johnson is charged with first-degree felony Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child Under 14 years old, and first-degree felony Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Young Child or Disabled Individual.
Robert Edward Spore is charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, more than 1 gram, but less than 4 grams.
