Just after 7pm as Caney Creek firefighters were on the scene of the motorcycle crash another crash occurred several hundred yards down the road. A female driving a Nissan was southbound on Philmore at the stop sign waiting to turn onto FM 2090. A Chrysler was eastbound with another vehicle in front of it. The driver of the Chrysler did not notice the driver in front of him turning and took evasive action. That evasive action took the Chrysler across the eastbound lanes, through the ditch. The Chrysler continued and struck the Nissan that had been at the stop sign. The impact rolled the Nissan into the ditch with the Chrysler landing on top of it. A female was trapped in the Nissan. Caney Creek firefighters were able to extricate the female who suffered minor injuries. She was transported to Kingwood Hospital. The driver of the Chrysler was not injured.
