Not long after a tornado was spotted on the ground at Richards in far northwest Montgomery County, intense rain and lightning moved through the Conroe and Splendora area.
On Loop 336 South an electrical storm displayed multiple lightning strikes along the roadside.
Montgomery Fire Department responded to a house fire on Community Center Drive at MLK in the City of Montgomery. It was unknown what the cause was.
I-45 flooded in multiple locations mostly in the Willis area.
Grangerland reported 1.35” of rain during the storm.
