1200 NOON- Just as troopers were about to clear the head on crash from early this morning, another crash occurred. SH 105 just between Scott and Duck Creek is now closed to all traffic and will be for an extended time. Early reports are a truck driver exited his vehicle which had been stuck in traffic. He was about to walk across the road to ask permission of the owner of Gilbert’s Water Well to use his driveway to turn around. It was then a passenger vehicle traveling eastbound slammed into him. He has been transported to Hermann Memorial Woodlands in critical condition. Expect SH 105 to be closed again several hours. If coming from Cleveland take Old 105 which is at the west side base of the railroad bridge. Travel it to Walker Road and then back north to SH 105. From Conroe, due to the earlier crash travel east on 105 to Old 105 which is just west of Crockett Martin. Continue east until it comes back onto SH 105. Do not use Walker or Duck Creek or you will be stuck in the traffic from the earlier crash.
