Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers responded to a two-vehicle fatality crash Wednesday evening on SH 105 east of Derk Small Rd. in Montgomery County.
The preliminary accident investigation indicates at approximately 2:50 p.m., a 2005 Saturn Vue was traveling eastbound on SH 105 when it lost control and struck a 2016 Ford F150 Pickup truck traveling westbound on SH 105 in the westbound lane.
The driver of the Saturn was identified as Kenneth Eugene Lange 65, out of Trinity TX. Lange did not survive the crash and was pronounced deceased by Montgomery County EMS. Next of Kin was notified.
The driver of the Ford F150 was identified as Christopher Duke 48, out of Montgomery, TX. Duke survived and was transported to the Conroe Regional Medical Facility by ground.
