HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Wednesday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s office responded to the 12700 block of T.C. Jester Boulevard to a hit-and-run crash. The victim and witnesses provided Deputies with the suspect’s vehicle description.
Deputies located the at-fault driver at a stop in a moving lane of traffic nearby. She was identified as 68-year-old Lynda Watson, and she displayed multiple signs of intoxication. Deputies administered Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and determined Watson was intoxicated.
While in custody, Lynda Watson allegedly bit the arresting officer.
“Lynda Watson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Assault of a Peace Officer. She is awaiting bond out of the 230th District Court and County Court 14,” Constable Mark Herman said.
