Saturday afternoon a Montgomery County Deputy attempted to stop Brittney Danne Bufkin, 42, of 1333 FM 1456 in Bellville at the Best Buy on Lake Woodlands. She decided she could outrun them. She entered I-45 southbound and continued to Valleywood where she crashed. She was taken to the hospital to be checked out and then transported to the Montgomery County Jail on charges of evading arrest, possession of controlled substance, and an order of arrest warrant out of Judge Macks Court.
