Crews have cleared the tank that was hit by lightning on Atascocita Road at Eagle Springs after 1:30pm. There was also reports of a building struck with multiple chemicals. The tank, which after it was hit launched and landed on the roadway. The roadway has reopened as crews have moved the tank.
Reports are the tank was filled with Pyrethrum and was leaking when crews arrived but was contained by Haz-Mat crews.
This was directly next to a water treatment plant
Pyrethrum , is a chemical used for insecticides.
