SHENANDOAH ONE HOUR PURSUIT THROUGH HARRIS COUNTY COMES TO AN END

Just after noon, a Shenandoah Officer attempted to stop a vehicle at Research and I-45. The female fled and a pursuit ensued. Units from Shenandoah, Oak
Ridge, and Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constables continued south on I-45 on and off the freeway. Harris County Sheriff’s units then started to assist along with their air support. Harris County Precinct 4 also assisted. They continued south. to the Airline, the female driver then turned north to the Beltway and east to Hardy. Again she looped back westbound on Beltway 8. When they started to approach US 290 a Harris County Sheriff’s Unit performed a pit maneuver on the vehicle bringing the chase to a halt. During the pursuit, speeds ranged from 60 to 105 mph. On two occasions she attempted to ram patrol units. First the Shenandoah unit the Harris County unit. The female was found to be in possession of multiple forms of identification not belonging to her along with license plates. She is being returned to Montgomery County to face charges of felony evading and possession of multiple forms of identification/fraud. In addition charges of aggravated assault on a peace officer for when she attempted to ram the officers.
