SHOPLIFTER TURNS VIOLENT

On December 4, 2017, a deputy with Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the Sam’s Club located in the 300 block of East Richey Road in reference to a shoplifter fighting employees. Deputy Constables arrived and discovered the suspect, Melony Hollins had concealed over $500.00 in merchandise and passed the last point of sale without paying. When Hollins was confronted by loss prevention officers she became physically violent and bit one of the officers while being detained.

“Melony Hollins was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Robbery. Her bond is set at $20,000.00 out of the 208th District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman
