We are currently working on a story from East Montgomery County in which 6 arrests have been made for over $2500 in merchandise from Walmart, Foor Fair and Brookshire Brothers.
During the course of the theft loss prevention officers alerted Montgomery County Precinct 4 deputies who were patrolling the immediate area. As deputies chased the suspects across the parking lot one kidnapped a baby belonging to one of the suspects and fled to Patton Village after hitching a ride with a still unknown driver.
The 6-month old has been recovered and the suspect is being charged with kidnapping.
The other five are being charged with felony theft and organized retail theft.
