HOUSTON – Thursday will be cold in Houston, with lows dipping under 40 in some areas and a high around 53 degrees.
11 News Meteorologist Mario Gomez said there shouldn’t be much precipitation, but the skies may be overcast for most of the day.
On Friday, we’ll have a 50-percent chance for precipitation – some of which could be snow flurries, especially in the areas just to the north and west of Houston.
The high should only reach the low 40s Friday with a low near 38 degrees.
A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Austin, Colorado, Grimes, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Walker, Waller and Washington counties until 12 a.m. Friday.
