Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman issued the following statement:

Yesterday, a large number of Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s office attended the Grand Oaks High School 8th grade Homecoming football game for the recognition of Jamil, son of Fallen Constable Corporal Maher Husseini during half time.

Constable Deputies presented him and his family with a Precinct 4 challenge coin and the football team also recognized him by adding his father’s unit number on their helmets.

Constable Corporal Maher Husseini was shot and killed on September 3, 2024 while on his way to work. Rest in Eternal Peace.
