“SKULL MASKED” ROBBER HITS LOCAL CONVENIENCE STORE

On Thursday, December 18th, just after midnight, the Texaco station located at 28677 IH-45 was robbed by an armed assailant wearing a cloth skull mask. According to the store clerk the suspect did not seem at all concerned about the fact that there were multiple cameras recording the crime.

While busy stocking the store, the clerk was approached by what he believes to be a white male of medium build, in his late teens to early 20’s, between 5’9” and 5’11”, dressed in a white hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black gloves, and the distinguishing skull mask. Just as the clerk was telling the suspect that he could not wear the mask in the store, he noticed the semi-automatic pistol and realized indeed he was being robbed.

The clerk opened the register, handed over the cash and the suspect quickly fled in and older model, 2000-2004, white Honda Accord.

At the time of this release, the in-store surveillance video has not been made available to the Shenandoah Police Department.

If you have any information concerning this case or the identity of the suspect, you are urged to contact the Shenandoah Police Department at (281) 367-8952. If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact Montgomery County Crime Stoppers (800) 392-STOP.
