James Michael Keyser was speeding down FM 1488 Monday near Magnolia when a Montgomery County Sheriff;s Deputy stopped him. After running his license he was found to have outstanding warrants in the county. He was placed in custody and a search of his vehicle revealed a gun and a variety of narcotics.
Keyser was transported to the Montgomery County Jail where he remains on over $100,000 in bonds. The charges include, three different counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. The warrants that were already pending on him included no seat belt, violate promise to appear, and running a stop sign.
Keyser, who is 41-years-old resides on Old Hempstead Road in Magnolia He has been handled many times before for assault, failure to id, driving on a suspended license, theft, forgery, dwi and several burglaries.
