Not even an hour after Precinct 4 recovered the stolen vehicle in Porter, Officer Castillo with Splendora Police Department was checking vehicles at businesses. She spotted a white Chevrolet pickup that looked suspicious sitting at the front door of the Shell station on US 59 and East River. The plate came back stolen in Montgomery County but did not belong on that vehicle. Checking further she found the vehicle was actually stolen and reported to the Humble Police Department. Several people were in the store at the time but as they left, they entered other vehicles. The truck was towed and Humble Police were notified. Splendora Police acquired the store video ad will now analyze the video to attempt to identify the driver of the stolen truck.
