On Sunday, June 15, 2025, at approximately 1:37 a.m., deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to a shooting in the parking lot of the Stampede Club, located at 11925 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas. Upon arrival, they found an off-duty deputy performing life-saving measures on a twenty-five (25) year old male with multiple gunshot wounds. The male was transported to Kingwood Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. A thirty-one (31) year old female and a nineteen (19) year old male from Splendora also arrived at a nearby hospital and are being treated as a result of the shooting. The male remains in critical condition. HCSO Homicide Detectives, Violent Offender Detectives, and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to conduct the follow-up investigation. Detectives determined there was an altercation in the parking lot, an unknown person(s) opened fire, striking multiple people. The identity of the deceased victim is not being released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
