According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office a 17-year-old male is the sole suspect in this mornings stabbing of four victims at Spring High School just after 7 a.m. The suspect is not yet being named.
One victim died on the scene, a second was sent by Life Flight to Houston’s Hermann Hospital and is scheduled for surgery on his arm. Another victim was taken to Houston Northwest Medical Center and is in stable condition. Cypress Creek EMS transported another victim to Houston Northwest Medical Center and is being transferred to Hermann Hospital in stable condition.
The fight started seven days into the school year and the third fight possibly gang related. Black and Hispanic.
Parents waited outside in the Sonic and Conns parking lot for hours. It was three hours before school officials sent out the first alert was sent out by Spring ISD. With the school on lockdown parents could get in and students could not leave.
Students were finally released just after noon.
Spring ISD has cancelled classes for the rest of the week for Spring High School only.
It was reported the suspect ran up from behind and stabbed two from the back. A blood trail went from the cafeteria to the nurses office where 911 was called,
