SPRING MAN FOUND DEAD ON LAKE CONROE

Tuesday night at about 4:30 p.m. the Precinct 1 Constables Office Lake Patrol was dispatched to the area of East Beach on Lake Conroe for a deceased male floating. Witnesses in White Oak Subdivision advised that around mid-morning they observed a white male anchoring his pontoon boat in the area. They also stated he had been in and out of the water. Just after 4 pm, witnesses observed the male floating face down in the water. After several attempts to call out to the male, 911 was called. Fire Boat 94 responded along with Medic 13 and found the male to be deceased. Montgomery County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Wayne Mack responded to the scene for an inquest. He ordered Eichenhorst Funeral Directors to transport the male to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for an autopsy. Precinct 1 Lake Patrol Lt. Tim Cade said there doesn’t appear to be any foul play involved. The investigation remains open pending autopsy results. The male was identified as 84-year-old Leo D. Tullier from Spring.
